| V -104 The Christian Health
Care Center Volunteers This group provides a
caring, Christian presence to the 600 residents and patients of the Health Care Center;
the nursing home, the psychiatric facility and the long-term elder care facility. Parish
teens and adults perform many tasks such as assisting in menu selection, making social
visits, transporting patients to religious services, serving meals for independent elderly
and assisting in the gift shop. Training is available and the time commitment is between
one and three hours per week.
