Bereavement Information Night - Held one night a month in the bereavement room on the second floor of the Religious Education building, we invite anyone recently bereaved for a brief presentation on the stages of grief, meet members of our Bereavement team, look over our library and video resources on grief and find out information regarding our Bereavement Support groups.

Coordinator: Lucille De Maria Phone: 201-445-5759

V-102 Bereavement Partners A ministry of listening and compassion, a bereavement partner is someone one willing to make contact with individuals who have experienced a recent loss.  The contact can take the form of visits, phone calls or notes or can be a combination of all three in hope of providing a caring, supportive presence during a difficult time. Bereavement partners also host and provide hospitality at our monthly bereavement information nights. Training is provided.

Coordinator: Lucille De Maria Phone: 201-445-5759

Bereavement Support Groups All who have experienced the loss of a loved one are invited to join groups led by certified bereavement group facilitators for eight consecutive weeks in the fall and spring. An oasis of strength and friendship, small groups of eight to twelve adults provide emotional, educational and spiritual support for the bereaved.
