Council of Ministries

The goal of the council is to ensure that the life of the parish reflects the mission of Jesus and that all parishioners are provided with an opportunity to share in that mission. The council will assess the needs of the community and develop strategies and goals tomeet them. Through the ministries of Service, Community Building, Word and Worship parishioners are encouraged to share their gifts and talents with the community. Meetings are usually held on the 2nd Thursday of the month from September to June.

Finance Council

The Code of Canon Law requires that each pastor invite members skilled in the area of finance and business to advise him on the financial affairs of the parish. Our finance council is responsible for the formulation of semi-annual and annual financial reports, the formulation of the parish budget, approval of expenditures for improvements or expansion of facilities, salary increases of employees and the hiring of new personnel. Knowledge and experience in finance, business, accounting and or legal issues is required to be considered for a position on the council. Meets monthly. Council positions are by appointment only.
