ADORATION & BENEDICTION

Mondays, 5:30pm-7:00pm

“In modern life, so often noisy and dispersive, it is more than ever important to recover the capacity for inner silence and prayer.  Eucharistic Adoration enables this to happen, not only around “me” but also in the company of the “you” full of love and this Jesus Christ, God close to us.”  Pope Benedict XVI

The Parish of St. Elizabeth provides the opportunity for everyone to share Eucharistic Adoration on Monday’s from 5:30-7:00 pm.  We invite all to pray in silence for 15 or 30 minutes or longer with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament exposed on the altar.  Even if just for a few minutes, make sure that you take the time to stop in Church and give thanks to Him from whom every good comes.

OVERNIGHT EXTENDED ADORATION

1st Monday of each Month

NEW!!!  For the Year of Faith, St. Elizabeth’s will have extended Eucharistic Adoration every 1st Monday of the month beginning on Monday, June 3rd.

It will begin at the normal time of 5:30 pm but will extend overnight concluding with Benediction at 6:45 am before the 7:00 am Mass on Tuesday.  We are looking for parishioners to commit to a once a month time slot for a Holy Hour.  You can commit for the same time slot each month or simply for a month at a time.  Commit with a friend, a spouse, or a child to come and pray.  Prayer groups, parish ministries and families are encouraged to commit some time to this invitation.  Please call Pat Khanjian at 201-891-3262 ext 227 or email jcamiolo@saintelizabeths.org to sign up for a time slot.

Please consider some quiet time in prayer.

  ONLINE GIVING

Online Giving is a direct payment program whereby your contribution is debited automatically from your checking, savings, Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express account into your church's bank account.
It makes it easy to fulfill stewardship commitments, even when you can't attend church. You never have to bring cash or checks to church. Giving electronically also helps the church save money and improve its budget!
